Venedig

Venedig är en stad och kommun i nordöstra Italien, belägen i och omkring en lagun vid Adriatiska havets norra del. Staden är huvudstad i regionen Veneto och huvudort i storstadsregionen Venedig, innan 2015 provinsen Venedig. 1987 fick staden och dess lagun status som världsarv.

Venice is a city and municipality in northeastern Italy, located in and around a lagoon on the northern part of the Adriatic Sea. The city is the capital of the Veneto region and capital of the Venice metropolitan region, before 2015 the province of Venice. In 1987, the city and its lagoon received World Heritage status.
